Joanna and James- A timeless engagement session on film in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

When Joanna and James got engaged, they knew they wanted their engagement session to be a homage to James’ passion for film photography and an honest reflection of their love story, and it was exactly that.

We met outside the iconic Philadelphia Museum of Art, a place that epitomizes the city's rich history and artistic flair.  The lighting provided shadows and harsh light that we fully embraced. From there, we walked to Philadelphia Waterworks where the glistening waters of the Schuylkill River served as a gorgeous backdrop at golden hour. We ended the evening dedicating the remainder of the session to the charming Fitler Square, a neighborhood close by to where they once called home.

I can’t help but be filled with anticipation for Joanna and James’ upcoming wedding at the Old Field Club on Long Island. It is evident that their wedding will be a celebration of love, art, and devotion.

And of course, it wouldn’t have been an evening in Philly without ending the night trying two of Philly’s finest, cheesesteaks from both Geno’s and Pat’s. (Team Geno’s btw!)
