Bill and Kelly met while studying for their doctorates at The University of Florida in Gainesville. Bill had reached out to me inquiring about his surprise proposal plan in October of 2021.

After booking their wedding for April 8, 2023 in San Diego, California, we decided to get together one more time for a graduation/engagement shoot. This time, Kelly knew what was going on. She wore a traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai, symbolizing beauty and elegance, worn only on special occasions. She wore her favorite color, blue, and it matched her engagement ring perfectly.

I am super excited for their wedding next month, and just had to share some of their beautiful love story.

(Since I’m behind and trying to catch up on blogs, I’m sure their proposal at Little Talbot Island will eventually get blogged, but until then..this gorgeous sunset session in Jacksonville Beach will have to do!)
